What we process and why

Our hosting provider, Hostinger, processes technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested page and time to deliver and secure this website. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure website. Searches and country/category selections are processed in your browser; we do not send them to an analytics service.

There are no visitor accounts, checkout, newsletter signup or Google Analytics on this directory. The contact form processes the name, email address, topic and message you submit so Micany can respond. It emails your enquiry to contact@micanyapps.com using the hosting provider. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, taking steps at your request. Contact data is not added to a marketing list; it is retained in the recipient mailbox only as needed for the enquiry and applicable obligations.

Advertising and consent

We have integrated Google AdSense (publisher pub-8972862202771806). Actual ad serving depends on Google’s approval and available inventory. Google’s published European regulations message manages advertising consent for the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Advertising requests remain paused until a valid consent-service response permits them. Rejection does not restrict access to the directory.

When permitted, Google and the advertising partners shown in the consent message may process identifiers, IP address, browser/device data, ad interactions and approximate location to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, with the relevant consent, personalise advertising. This site does not request browser geolocation. The consent message identifies vendors, purposes, legal bases and available objections; consult those details before choosing.

The AdSense tag contacts Google to initialise advertising and its consent service. Blocking all advertising through Cookie settings reloads the page without the tag. This site keeps advertising storage, personalisation and user-data consent denied by default. No analytics consent is requested.

Your choices

Open the persistent Cookie settings button on the directory at any time. You can manage Google’s vendor and purpose choices or block advertising on this browser. Withdrawing consent applies to future processing and does not affect processing lawfully carried out earlier. Existing cookies can also be removed through your browser; we cannot delete cookies belonging to third-party domains.

Recipients and international transfers

Technical data is handled by Hostinger, and advertising/consent data may be handled by Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC and the partners identified in Google’s message. Processing may occur outside the EEA. Consult Google’s privacy policy, its information about partner sites and international-transfer safeguards. Each linked deal community has its own privacy rules.

Storage and retention

We do not maintain a server-side customer profile or search history. Google manages its consent records and advertising identifiers according to its disclosures. Our optional local advertising-block preference expires after 180 days. Technical hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s configured retention; the exact period has not yet been confirmed. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the applicable conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can complain to Sweden’s Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY) or your local supervisory authority.

We link to external websites and do not control their cookies, purchases or cashback programmes. Advertising is not an endorsement. We update this notice when our implementation changes.

Contact-form security

The contact page uses an essential, session-only cookie named micany_contact for CSRF protection and rate limiting. A security token is valid for up to one hour. An HMAC-derived network identifier, rather than your raw IP address, limits abuse for one hour; expired rate-limit records are removed. Form submissions are not written to a website database.
